According to Incident Information System - here's the status of Fires burning near Bozeman.

Bear Trap Fire

The Bear Trap fire is 20 miles northeast of Ennis - is 14,770 acres and 12% contained. MT Hwy 84 is open from Blacks Ford to Norris. Travel with caution, there's a 35 mph speed limit. Smoke and fire personnel are in the area.  The Burueau of Land Management has temporarily closed all recreation sites along both sides of the lower Madison Special Recreation Management Area.

Pony Fire

High winds, low humidity, and dry conditions caused the Pony Fire to grow in size yesterday. The fire is now estimated at 6400 acres. Helicopters were unable to fly yesterday afternoon because of the high winds. The town of Mammoth and South Boulder are under mandatory evacuation. All road and trails are closed in the fire area. Two structures have been lost in the fire with more structures threatened. Crews will be putting in pumps and hoses to protect threatened structures.

Antelope Fire

Firefighters continue to work the lightning caused Antelope fire. The fire located approximately 10 miles north of Whitehall in the Bull Mountains is approximately 686 acres. It is burning on privately owned and Forest Service.  They made progress yesterday and the fire is currently 40 % contained.
