Avril Lavigne fans, get ready to feel all the feels. The singer just debuted her new song "Fly" — and it's awesome.

As we previously reported, "Fly" was written for the Avril Lavigne Foundation and will go on to benefit the upcoming 2015 Special Olympics. It's no surprise then that the piano-driven power ballad brings some hardcore inspirational vibes.

"Spread your wings, across the universe / It's your time to, it's your time to shine / There's a light inside all of us / Soon, you'll find that it's your time to fly / Your time to fly," Avril sings. "A little happy is all it ever takes / Somebody else just tell you that it's worth fighting / A single step becomes a leap a faith / That's when you realize just starting flying."

The track will no doubt inspire Avril's millions of fans, but she revealed that "Fly" had a profound effect on her own life following her recent Lyme disease diagnosis.

"Knowing that I have the release of the song to look forward to and knowing that my fans were waiting for the new music helped me stay alive inside during some of my darkest times," Avril told PEOPLE.

The singer also opened up about her struggle with the disease, saying, "I had no idea a bug bite could do this. I was bedridden for five months.”

The 2015 Special Olympics World Summer Games will take place from July 25 through August 2. You can listen to Avril's inspirational new song "Fly" above!
