Best + Worst Dressed of the Week: Jennifer Lawrence, Kim Kardashian + More

The Met Gala was this past Monday, and there were so many highs and lows. We picked a few of those, as well as outfits from other events that warranted our attention and yours.

Ultimately, we have to give it up for Jennifer Lawrence and her black Dior frock … but we, like everyone else, can’t stop shaking our heads over Kim Kardashian‘s decision to channel a sofa at the Met event.

The Best:

J. Law scored another red carpet win in a black strapless Dior dress in tea length. It was breathtaking. She paired it with a lace veil and finished the look with cherry lips — and between this and her epic photobomb, we’re pretty much in love.

Girl, give your stylist a raise and a bonus.

Solange

Beyonce‘s baby sis was bangin’ in a black and cream striped Jill Stuart dress with serious side boobies. The red stilettos were a colorful and modern touch.

Jordana Brewster

The actress attended the ‘Fast & Furious 6′ premiere in a strapless white beaded column gown by Yoana Baraschi. The designer name may not be familiar to you yet, but if she keeps dressing stars in frocks like this, you’ll definitely be hearing more about her.

The Worst:

Kim Kardashian

Slip-cover fabric? Gloves that made her hands disappear? A high collar? Matching sandals? Not one element of Kimmy’s Riccardo Tischi ensemble worked for her. Even unborn children deserve better than this.

Zosia Mamet

Regrettable eyebrows aside, the ‘Girls’ actress has rocked some really cute and enviable outfits lately — but this print maxi isn’t one of them. Despite the bright color, the sack-like volume of fabric and belt don’t work for her frame, and neither do the pointy witch shoes.
