Big Sky’s Vintage Shedhorn Chairlift Chairs Sell Fast

Big Sky Resort announced late last week that they would be selling off all of their vintage Shedhorn chairlift chairs, once part of the original "Ramshead" chairlift.

The sale began at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 2, and Big Sky Resort was asking $750 per chair. Despite the hefty price tag, all of the chairs were sold in under two hours.

Chairs were sold in "as-is" condition, without seat cushions, on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you happen to see a chairlift strapped to the top of a car driving around Bozeman, chances are they were one of the lucky buyers.
