Two grants from the US Department of Transportation, totaling over $3.3 million, have been awarded to the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to upgrade the runway.

According to a press release from Senator Steve Daines:

As Montana’s busiest airport, it’s critical that the runway is in top shape to serve Montanans and grow Montana’s economy,” Daines stated.

“This funding will go a long way toward improving the infrastructure to keep the airport operating as demand continues to increase.

As of now there is no timeline for the runway improvements that has been released. We will share that information as soon as we hear further details.
