Thursday (12/16) morning just before 10am, an adult male approached a female clerk at the First Security Bank located in County Market on North 7th Avenue in Bozeman. The man pointed a handgun toward the clerk, leaned over the counter and demanded money. The clerk complied, gave him some money and he fled the store. 

The man was seen entering a vehicle on the north side of the grocery store.  A female was driving the vehicle and the two left in a northbound direction. Law enforcement response included officers from the Bozeman Police Department, Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol, but the robbery suspects have not been located.

A description of the suspects and vehicle is:

Robbery suspect: 20-30 Year old white male, 6’2” to 6’5” with slender build.  He was wearing a dark hoodie, ski mask, sunglasses, dark pants and dark gloves. 

Robbery Accomplice: 16-25 Year old white female, unknown height, wearing a neon green beret style hat with a ball on top.

Suspect Vehicle: Early 2000’s 2-door silver Chevrolet, possibly Cavalier, with a spoiler on the back and alloy wheels.  There is no known license state or number.   

It is not known if this robbery is related to a robbery occurring at First Interstate Bank, at 202 W. Main, on November 23rd.
