Britney Spears is dedicating her new single, 'Work Bitch,' to her beloved gays -- just days after she came under fire for essentially marginalizing her homosexual fans. The pop legend sat down with 'Chatty Man' host Alan Carr and dished on the will.i.am-produced track, which is her debut single from 'Britney Jean.'

Previously, Spears was criticized when asked about her impact on the LGBTQ community for saying, "A lot of my hair stylists and my beauty team that I work with are gay so I hang out with gays a lot and I just think they're adorable and hilarious."

When openly gay host Carr asked why she titled the song 'Work Bitch,' Spears revealed that it's actually a bit of a pet name for those close to her. "I don't call everyone that word," she grinned. "I just use it as, it's like in respect to the gays as a term of endearment."

She added, "It's like a street slang for everyone, you know, like you get to work, that's what you do when you get to work and it's like, cool."

Other fun tidbits? Spears' bargain shopping habits, her British accent and more. Tune in above and below and get to work, bitch!
