Budweiser “Buddy Cup” New Way To Get Facebook Friends? (VIDEO)

Budweiser has created a new way to get "friends" - Facebook friends that is.  In their new "Buddy Cup", anyone you clink glasses with will be instant friends on your Facebook Page. TheDrum.com is saying the aim of the Buddy Cup is to, quote, "enhance brand activation and increase the interaction between Budweiser consumers attending the brand's sponsored parties, concerts and festivals."

What do you think of this?  Do you want to make more "friends" while you are out and about?  Personally, I'm not crazy about the idea.  There are times at the bar when we are just being polite to the people around us, we don't really want to exchange information with them.  I can picture "that guy" at the bar that goes around clinking glasses with all the hottest girls to get their information.
