On Saturday, October 5, the Kountz Arena in Bozeman will be exploding with incredible electronic music! Here is one of my favorite artists, Gladkill, remixing one of my favorite groups, Metric. He calls this LOVESTEP, not DUBSTEP.
Just a friendly word of warning -- once a particularly good misheard lyric makes its way into your brain, you will never hear the correct lyrics ever again. Having said that, check out these hilarious misheard lyric Vines!
New to MY 103.5 this week is Lorde. Ella Yelich-O'Connor was born November 7th 1996, known by her stage name Lorde. That makes her 16, and her voice is awesome! Check out this video of her new tune "Royals"
Katy Perry's new 'Prism' song 'Dark Horse' is markedly different than the album's first taste, the upbeat single 'ROAR.' Sonically and lyrical, 'Dark Horse' is, well, darker. If the song sounds sort of familiar, that's because its closest relative in the Perry catalog is the 'Teenage Dream' smash 'E.T.'
Bastille is a band out of London rising fast to the top of the indie/alternative band genre. While their sound is far from Miley Cirus', they were able to magnificently cover 'We Can't Stop' live in the BBC studios.
Katy Perry and John Mayer are getting super serious, but as anyone who's followed their tumultuous relationship knows, they've had quite afewupsanddowns -- including quite a fewsplits -- in between. Thankfully, though, those are behind them ... and they even inspired Perry's smash hit, 'Roar.'
If you happened to catch a song online today (Sept. 4) that was purported to be a new Justin Bieber song and found The Biebs dropping the 'N word, guess what? It was a fake and his since been yanked for the Interwebs.
He's back! Eminem has released his new song called "Berzerk". In this one he makes fun of the Kardashians. His upcoming album is called "MMLP2" and is set to be released Nov. 5. Are you excited about his new release?
The blogosphere is still buzzing about Miley Cyrus’ risqué performance at MTV's Video Music Awards, with some people taking a step back to ask a very basic question: why is MTV honoring videos, since it so rarely plays them anymore?
The official video isn't out yet, however this is pretty cool. Katy starts off as a young toddler and is morphed to her later years. It reminds me of Michael Jackson's Black or White video. Pretty cool stuff
