Yesterday, March 26, the Supreme Court began hearing arguments both for and against Prop 8, which banned same-sex marriage in the state of California.

In addition to changing their social media profile pics into the Human Rights Campaign's red equality sign, some celebrities tweeted feverishly for the repeal of the proposition, while others took to Facebook to express their support for marriage equality.
