Stephen Colbert Comes to Michele Bachmann’s Defense Over John Wayne Gacy Gaffe [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert (sort of) defended Michele Bachmann’s now-infamous, accidental comparison to serial killer John Wayne Gacy on Tuesday night’s episode of ‘The Colbert Report.’

Since the gaffe, Bachmann has admitted that she misspoke, but Colbert takes issue with her concession. “What on earth are you apologizing for? All you said is that you have the same spirit as John Wayne Gacy, and I think there is something to that.” Colbert said. “Because like Gacy, people might think you’re a clown. But if they dig a little deeper, they’ll find you are deadly serious.”

‘The Voice’ Coaches Put Their Spin on Queen and David Bowie’s ‘Under Pressure’ [VIDEO]

Nothing quite says “pressure” quite like the last night of competition on a nationally televised singing competition — so it’s only fitting that the four judges of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ came together to duet on the Queen and David Bowie classic ‘Under Pressure.’

The quartet — Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green, and Christina Aguilera — took the stage for a loose version of the song, starting off in unison before Shelton, Levine, and Cee Lo took turns soloing at the mic. Aguilera, naturally, added plenty of melismatic vocal runs.

“Indoor tanning is out,” says the Canadian Dermatology Association, who’ve placed tanning beds squarely in their crosshairs with a new web PSA that shows young women singing their skin with a clothes iron, toaster and waffle iron. Ouch. The CDA hopes these exaggerated examples of frying one’s skin hammers home the dangers of tanning. According to their website:

Cee Lo Green Defends Himself After Homophobic Tweet

Just a few weeks after Blake Shelton came under fire for using Twitter to voice some homophobic comments, one of his fellow judges on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ has done the same thing — and now Cee Lo Green has a PR problem of his own to deal with.

Responding to a negative review of his recent Minneapolis performance, Green questioned the critic’s judgment by writing, “People enjoyed last night! I’m guessing you’re gay? And my masculinity offended you? Well, f*** you!”

‘The Office’ Recut as a 90s Sitcom [VIDEO]

The 90s are often thought of as the golden age of cheesy sitcoms. Shows like ’Family Matters’, ‘Wings’ and ‘Mad About You’ had a certain panache that was just so right for the time: the enthusiastic laugh track, the exaggerated physical comedy and the raspy sax rock theme-song all came together in a comforting, consistent package.

Now, thanks to the power of editing, we’ve been given a glimpse at what ‘The Office’ might have looked like had it come out during that prime time (pun intended) for sitcoms. Check out the video below:
