This Saturday, April 29th is Independent Bookstore Day (and the 60th anniversary of Country Bookshelf). As a lover of books, I really enjoy that my Kindle can hold thousands of books in the space of just one, thin book (and that I can enlarge the font size!). But there's nothing like the feel and smell of a real book in your hands. And I've always loved spending time browsing at the bookstore, finding new interests and stories I may never have found otherwise.

According to indiebookstoreday.com, "Independent Bookstore Day is a one-day national party that takes place at indie bookstores across the country on the last Saturday in April with exclusive books and literary items that you can only get on that day. Not before. Not after. Not online."

So celebrate the day at Country Bookshelf on W. Main St. in Bozeman this Saturday!
