With summer wrapping up soon, here's a chance to have a great night out PLUS help out a local individual that needs our support..

Back on June 20th, a local Montana Layne Kriebel was involved in an auto accident that resulted in some very serious injuries, and while Layne is doing much better, he still has a long road ahead, as well as some very expensive medical bills.

Friends and family have come together and created a chance for folks to not only help with the cause but also have a great time and enjoy a night as a couple, family, or just friends.

According to the press release about the event, Layne suffered a broken fumer, collapsed lung, as well as a significant brain injury.  He was life-flighted from Bozeman to Billings and is currently doing rehabilitation at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.

The event on his behalf will take place this Saturday evening at the Pasture Drive-In over in Amsterdam.  Not only will there be a movie playing (Ice Age), but dinner will be provided as well with all proceeds from the event going to the Kriebel family.

Admission is 10 dollars per person or 30 dollars per car with concessions kicking off at 6:30 pm and the movie starting at 8:45 that evening.

10 Important Things Everyone Learns After Moving to Montana

Montana is a unique place, and some of the things you'll experience in the state don't happen anywhere else. Here are a few of the things you'll learn after moving to Montana.

Top 5 Safest Cities In Montana, 2023

Like every state, there are always going to be a few towns that make us think twice about moving there or deciding where to raise our kiddos. But like I always say, "negative yells and positive whispers". The same goes for crime and violence; we hear about all the drug busts, assaults, break-ins, etc. It's not very often we hear about all the great things right?
Well, the list came out from Safewise, and we now know where the Five Safest Cities In Montana are.

20 License Plates Banned In Montana

This is just a small glimpse at banned license plates in the state of Montana. There are well over 4000 that could be added to this list.

Now why some of these are banned is beyond me. I don't find any of them offensive, that's for sure; the state of Montana has the right to refuse:

"any combination of letters or numbers, or both, that may carry connotations offensive to good taste and decency or which are misleading or a duplication of license plates provided elsewhere."- Montana Motor Vehicle Department

What plates are banned in your state? Hopefully, they are not as picky as Montana.
