Family Fun Day Survives The Storm
Family Fun Day 2011 at Bridger Creek turned out to be a huge success. The day was looking bleak as dark clouds surrounded the golf course but that didn't stop the participants or the volunteers. Most attendees intelligently took shelter at the club house but a few brave golfers played on threw the rain. We had four competitions for the kids and parents to compete in with prizes awarded to the top three in each age group.
The rain and clouds eventually disappeared and we had a beautiful afternoon in the sun playing golf.
Rocky Mountain Rotors was there with their helicopter giving rides and aiding in the ball drop in which over fifty balls were dropped from the helicopter above a golf hole and the balls that landed in the hole won prizes for the designated team.
Everyone at the event enjoyed free ice cream from Wilcoxson's Ice Cream and Pizza from Tarantino's Pizzeria.
I can' t wait until next year! Hope to see you there
