I want to go to the beach.  Not the Bozeman beach – a REAL beach.  I want to lay in the sand, read a magazine, and drink pink drinks out of a cup with an umbrella in it.  Last year we went to San Francisco and had the most wonderful time.  I have a bunch of places on the must go to list – Jamacia, Mexico, Hawaii, Costa Rica – do you see a trend?  Yep, all have beaches.  Where is your favorite beach spot?  What’s the best beach vacation you’ve ever been on?

Disco legend Donna Summer has died after a battle with cancer, TMZ is reporting. She was 63 years old.

Insiders say she wanted to keep the disease quiet, and a friend said that as recently as two weeks ago, Summer seemed okay and was even finishing up work on a new album.

The five-time Grammy winner shot to fame in the 1970s with songs like ‘Love to Love You Baby,’ ‘Hot Stuff’ and ‘Bad Girls,’ and continued her reign on radio airwaves into the ’80s with hits including ‘She Works Hard for the Money’ and ‘This Time I Know It’s for Real.’

Summer was also the first artist to have three consecutive double albums reach No. 1 on the US Billboard chart.

Not since Linda Barrett got revenge on Mike Damone and his (what-looked-like-a-Gremlin) car in ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ for impregnating her BFF Stacy by spraypainting “prick” on the door have we had such a hearty laugh at a scorned woman expressing her rage and wrath on a vehicle. You’ve never…go watch it right now. We’ll wait.

Local radio station MIX108 and its quick snapping photog captured the images, including ones of the cops arriving on the scene around 4PM to inspect the debris. There was also a pile of ash on site, which would indicate that the angry woman set her ex’s things on fire and that which she didn’t burn, she left strewn in a heap.

The truck was removed about an hour later, but his stuff remained on the lawn. Everyone has to air their dirty laundry once in a while and express their rage, but this mess makes the property values plummet!

What she should have done was sold all of his stuff at the Bozeman Super Garage Sale on May 19th!

A while back, we told you about the Jewish girls’ school in Brooklyn that instituted a Facebook ban for its students, saying using the social media site violated its religious tenets.

Now an elementary school in Australia is following suit, but its demand that kids delete their Facebook pages has an entirely different reason: it’s an attempt to wipe out cyber-bullying.

Leonie Hultgren, principal of Harlaxton State School in Toowoomba, Queensland, said in a newsletter that children must obey Facebook’s rule stating no one under 13 is permitted to sign up for an account. It’s not uncommon for kids to lie about their ages to circumvent that policy, but Hultgren said any of her charges who did so would face expulsion.

Falsifying one’s age to gain access to Facebook is not only against the law, she wrote, but “there has been some considerable Facebook traffic that either bullies a child of this school or in some cases denigrates some staff and the school. Either of these circumstances warrant the school becoming involved.”

Some parents are outraged at the new policy, but child psychologist Michael Carr-Gregg applauds it, saying Hultgren’s stance is “directly related to the lack of supervision of very young people who do not have the skills, knowledge and strategies to manage their digital behavior.”

On tonight’s (May 16) episode of the penultimate week of Season 11 of ‘American Idol,’ the final 3 — Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Jessica Sanchez — sang a trio of songs for three rounds of competition. One was chosen by the judges, one by the contestants themselves and one by series mentor and Interscope Records chief Jimmy Iovine. It was a whole lot of singing with a lot on the line, as the final two competitors will be determined in 24 hours. Hello, nail biting situation!

Here’s PopCrush’s recap on how the ep shook down.

JOSHUA LEDET:

Everything he did tonight was good and Gospel-flavored. He leaves it all on the stage, with his natural ability to sing and to perform. He adds touches, like ripping off his jacket and his inner ear monitors. He’s a total package. We’d be shocked if he goes home. Seriously.

Judge’s Choice: He slayed Etta James’ ‘I’d Rather Go Blind,’ nailing every single sweet spot. Out of 70,000 contestants, there is only one ‘Idol’ and he sang like he was the one. Hard to beat, for sure.

Personal Choice: He showed us he can do subdued with his soulful rendition of The Beatles‘ ‘Imagine.’

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: Mary J. Blige‘s ‘No More Drama’ is the perfect marriage of R&B and church, and since J. Lo is like the male Mary J., the song played to all his strengths. He sang with a Gospel fire and came alive on the stage, ripping off that jacket.

JESSICA SANCHEZ:

She is going to have a long career in music since she has such a money voice. Her youth, though, make us think now is not the right time for her. That said, she continues to rack up flawless performances that are predictable. When she gets a little more life lived in her, that “edge” we desire will manifest itself. Overall, though, Bebe Chez can sing her patoot off and we predict massive things for her.

Judge’s Choice: The belter and last female standing offered up a beautifully refined rendition of Mariah Carey‘s ‘My All.’ She showed restraint and a quiet tenderness. We can’t deny it was pretty, even though it lacked any sort of edge.

Personal Choice: She went the ballad route with Aerosmith‘s ‘I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing.’ She hit all the notes but it wasn’t anything particularly moving. She struggles to “connect,” despite performing in flawless fashion.

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: The Jackson 5′s ‘I’ll Be There’ was her Iovine selection and she once again delivered a quality rendition and showed off a soulful tone. It lacked that “WOW! OMG!” moment.

PHILLIP PHILLIPS:

The girls love him, and he is artistic, yet does his own thing without catering to anyone else. He also goes off the melody of his songs and twists them to create something unique. But tonight, for his final performance, he stuck to the melody and had the moment. If he’s not in the finals, it’ll be criminal.

Judge’s Choice: He owned the melody of Madcon’s ‘Beggin’,’ a song you likely never heard. While the DMB comparisons haunt the double P, he is a true artist and the way he handled the mid-section of the song had us buying what he was selling. Steven Tyler said once he writes his own songs, he’ll be a new age Boss, as in Bruce Springsteen. HUGE compliment.

Personal Choice: He sang Matchbox 20′s ‘Disease,’ giving it a bit of a funky, jazzy feel. Only Phillip Phillips can turn radio rock into something totally fresh and new. However, the judges hated it.

Jimmy Iovine’s Choice: The song has a great melody and an emotional and romantic timbre, but the masculine quality was the reason that Iovine chose Bob Seger‘s ‘We’ve Got Tonight.’ It played to PP’s male and female fanbase. We can sum it up in one simple word: SWOOOOOOOOON! Dressed in black and singing while seated, Phillips showed us a tender, leading man side. His voice changed shape and he ventured into new territory. The ending where he harmonized with the choir? We got goosies, J. Lo.

When Jay-Z and Kanye West do it big, they do it really big. According to the Evening Standard, the ‘Watch the Throne’ duo will host a posh shindig in London on Friday to celebrate their joint five-night concert residency at the O2 Arena.

The event will be held at the defunct casino hall Fifty in London’s St James’ Street. About 400 guests are expected to attend the bash, including Jay’s wife, Beyonce, and West’s boo Kim Kardashian. London’s top chef Giorgio Locatelli is catering the event, so the food is going to be delish and the Armand de Brignac champagne (aka Ace of Spades) will be flowing in the glasses.

“This is to celebrate the first night of the European tour and they want London to know they’ve arrived,” said the source about the lavish get-together. “The place is going to be crazy and they want it to be the party of the year. It will be filled with beautiful women [and] people will be fighting to get inside.”

Well, let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Along with the food and drinks, Jay-Z is hoping to set up gambling tables so partygoers can try their hand at luck and win some money. “He is looking at getting a temporary casino license for the night so they can set up some of the old tables for guests,” said the insider.

Talk about a casino royale.

The closer and closer we get to ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ premiere, the more we want to see Andrew Garfield take his Spidey suit off. You know he’s completely naked underneath there, right?

More and more clips and photos keep churning out from Columbia Pictures, who can’t help but tease us to death with that one iconic shirtless image of Garfield going in for a make-out session with Emma Stone. But our favorite sneak peek we’ve gotten from the movie so far is the latest (count ‘em) four-minute trailer. Check it out.

While there aren’t any new shirtless moments for him yet, we’re hopeful that it’ll be worth the wait. But for now, we just have to imagine what’s waiting for us underneath all that spandex.

I LOVE THIS!  I admit, I too tanned before prom’s and formals in high school – and before major events in my early adult life.  This is something however that I have tried to cut down dramatically on, due to my increasing knowledge of skin cancer. Well it turns out, high school students are also learning the risks! 209 high school students at Maynard High School is Massachusetts took a no tan for prom pledge!  How great is that!

The American Melanoma Foundation said melanoma is the second most common cancer among 15- to 29-year-olds, and blames the increased use of tanning beds for the rise in the deadly disease.

Yesterday in a District Court in Sidney, MT – both Lester Van Waters Jr. and Michael Keith Spell plead not guilty to deliberate homicide and attempted kidnapping charges in the case of Sherry Arnold.  Both men have potential sentences of death or life imprisonment.  In fact Richland County Attorney Mike Weber has filed a “notice of intent to seek the death penalty” for each defendant.

By now most of heard the horrible story of the fate of Sherry Arnold.  According to reports, she went out on an early morning jog in January and never returned. Spell’s girlfriend was the one who called the police – and told law enforcement that they were smoking crack cocaine, and Spell himself admitted that he and Waters had talked about kidnapping and killing a female.  The reports say that while Sherry Arnold was on her jog, the two passed her.  They then turned around and waited for her to jog to them.  Then they grabbed her, there was a struggle and they forced her in the car.  Her body was found months later in a field outside of Williston, ND.

In this video, teachers get the last laugh! This one is hilarious, some of the teachers have got MOVES – and some don’t.

A history teacher at Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School in Worcester, Massachusetts — has created a video that has gone viral. Mike Penny convinced students to talk on camera by telling them he was making a documentary for the school’s annual film festival. In the video, the students are seen talking to Penny while teachers sneak into the background and show off their best dance moves. The students had no idea that there were dancing teachers behind them and only discovered the truth when the film debuted at the festival. At press time the video had more than 50,000 views. According to the YouTube page Mike Penny has been contacted by Ellen DeGeneres. (Buzzfeed)

Former Alicia Keys backup singer and ‘The Voice‘ victor Jermaine Paul is going back to his roots. The soulman is gearing up to record with Keys once more — but in a much different capacity. No longer a backup singer but now a star in his own right, Paul revealed that the pair will do a duet!

Paul chatted with MTV News about the project. “She’s always been supportive,” Paul said of his former frontwoman. “Even while I was singing, I would tell her, ‘I want to go solo,’ and she was like, ‘What are you waiting on?’ and I would tell her, ‘I’m waiting on God to fix things out,’ and she was like, ‘Maybe God is waiting on you.’”

Paul wants Keys to appear on his upcoming debut. “We’ve been working on a song for a while now,” Paul said. “And, you know, what better time than now?” True that!

Paul also gushed about his coach and pal Blake Shelton. “He’s a good guy, he’s a man’s man, he’s a what-you-see-is-what-you-get type of guy, and that’s the kind of guy I try to be,” Paul said. “That was ultimately one of the main reasons I chose him as my coach,” he admitted. “I just felt his sincerity, the realness. He jokes around a lot, you know? When he walks in the room, he definitely has a way of lighting up the air.” He sure does — just ask his bromance partner, Adam Levine!

Paul credits Shelton with keeping him sane after his win. “I was going through a whole emotional, mental shock, and I even physically thought my legs weren’t under me, I had my hands on my head,” Paul gushed. “I had this crazy tingling sensations like going through my head — it’s a feeling I can’t even explain — and he brought me back to reality and grabbed me and was like, ‘You did it, man! It’s you!’ It was an amazing feeling.”

With so many amazing contenders in the ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ semifinals, it was really anyone’s guess who’d leave after Tuesday night’s elimination show.

So which three couples will move on to next week’s big finale?

Hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke-Charvet, who was nice enough to introduce first-time viewers to her cleavage, kicked off the show by letting the judges choose an encore dance from performance night.

Len announced the honors would go to William and Cheryl’s samba, so the bronzed pair again took to the stage to showcase William’s bouncy backside to a grateful nation.

Then we got a backstage look at what exactly happened to Katherine after she flubbed the end of her second routine on Monday. Apparently a twinge in her back chose to make itself known at an inopportune time, and she was devastated — although it seemed she was more concerned about possibly costing Mark a spot in the finals than she was about herself.

Brooke’s cleavage called Katherine and Mark to the stage to learn their fate, and after they were told they were the first to make it to the finals, they jumped so high it honestly looked like they’d both been launched from ejector seats. Much rejoicing ensued, and we have to say we’re pleased we’ll get to see them next week.

Next up: Derek and Maria, who had a helluva night on Monday. But even though they were at the top of the judges’ leaderboard, they must have fallen short on audience votes because they were the first couple in jeopardy.

Then we got a peek at the upcoming ‘Rock of Ages‘ movie, only live on stage, featuring ‘DWTS’ vet Julianne Hough and the always-amazing Mary J. Blige. It was … well, see for yourself:

Donald and Peta were the next to be told they were in jeopardy, which course meant William and Cheryl moved on to the finals.

And in what many people will probably feel was a really shocking result, Maria and Derek were eliminated, even after getting one perfect score and one near-perfect score on Monday. Yeah, those audience votes do matter. (Is this a good time to say we predicted they’d come in fourth?)

But if Maria was surprised, she sure didn’t let it show. “I learned so many things,” she said about her time on the show. “I learned how strong I was. I learned to persevere.” Classy lady — and as we said, it really could’ve been anyone who went home.

In Donald Trump’s world, there’s losers and then there’s Rosie O’Donnell-level losers. And according to The Donald, music icon Cher is right up there with ‘The View’s’ former host when it comes to being “out of touch with reality” and a “total loser.” Guess we won’t be seeing these two on ‘Celebrity Apprentice‘ anytime, ever.

So, what got Cher on Donald Trump’s bad side? The Molotov cocktail of politics and Twitter all started when Cher took to the social networking platform to share her views on Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney.

“If ROMNEY gets elected I don’t know if I can breathe same air as Him & his Right Wing Racist Homophobic Women Hating Tea Bagger Masters,” tweeted the 65-year-old pop star.

Trump, clearly not concerned about Cher’s ability to breathe should Romney make it into the White House, came back hard on the singer, her music and much-talked-about plastic surgery habit.

When asked about the Twitter feud, Trump stayed on the offensive, telling FOX’s “On the Record” host Greta Van Susteren that his afro-wigged nemesis is lonely, unhappy and miserable, and that her “sound-enhanced and computer-enhanced music doesn’t do it for [him.]” Plus, he added this on Twitter:

While O’Donnell’s been pointing her Twitter followers to the documentary expose, “You’ve Been Trumped,” the “slightly more talented” Cher has yet to respond to The Donald.
