The NFL Combine happened last weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana where hopeful former college football players participate in a series of tests to improve their draft status when the NFL Draft comes around in April.

One of those participants this past weekend just happens to be a former all-state tight end from Bozeman High School.

Will Dissly, who has been playing for the University of Washington for the past few years was one of the participants at the NFL Combine and showed off what he can bring to an NFL team. He was a Top Performer in the 60 yard shuffle and the three cone drill but ran a 4.87 40 yard dash which was one of the slower times out of the tight end group.

NFL.com has him projected as a 6th round pick with one NFC West Scout saying this:

He's a Peterson guy. All-in with his commitment to the team and what he has to do. He won't blow you away with talent or athleticism, but he does his job.

This is pretty exciting for a local guy to potentially make it into the NFL. Not since Dane Fletcher have we known someone from Bozeman with the resume to play in an NFL game. We wish you the best of luck, Will.
