The Gallatin Art Crossing continues the Spring Art Lecture series, kicking-off on Tuesday, February 24 at 7pm in the Bozeman Public Library's large community room.

The series will feature regional artists and members of the creative community who are promoting public art and the value and impact it has on the Gallatin Valley.

The first lecture highlights MSU Art School Assistant Professor Jim Zimpel and Associate Professor Rollin Beamish. They will speak to their work and practices as professional artists and professors.

Recently merged with the Bozeman Sculpture Park, the Gallatin Art Crossing exhibit hosts over 50 pieces, introducing viewers to many artistic approaches in the free public gallery.

The goal is to add one piece annually to the permanent collection of sculptures, which can be found from the Emerson Cultural Center down to the Bozeman Public Library. The lecture series is hosted by the Bozeman Public Library.

Contact Paula Beswick at director@bozemanlibraryfoundation.org or 582-2426 for more information about the lecture series or visit www.gallatinartcrossing.com for more info on the Art Crossing.
