Hours after asking for the public's help to identify a woman who is in critical condition after a crash in which a man died earlier this week, the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office said the woman has been identified.

"We would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying this person. The family has been contacted. The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office and Montana Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident," the sheriff's office said in a press release issued Thursday evening.

The woman's identity was not included in the release. She is in critical condition, according to information released earlier in the day Thursday.

Michael Allen Aragon, 48, was killed in the one-vehicle rollover on Tuesday, July 5 on Dry Creek Road near the intersection of Penwell Bridge. Aragon, the registered owner of the vehicle, was a passenger at the time of the crash. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled, according to the sheriff’s department. He was declared dead on scene.


 

The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a woman involved in a fatal crash earlier this week.

The female driver remains in critical condition and has not yet been identified. She is described as 25-40 years of age 5’ 5” tall, 158 pounds, dyed blond hair with a possible pink streak and hazel eyes. She has multiple tattoos on her body.

The sheriff's office added that Aragon moved to Belgrade from Idaho about a year ago and worked in Bozeman.
