I was on the couch sick last week, so I took the chance to get caught up on some of the movies that my boyfriend doesn't necessarily want to watch - and one of those was "The Help".  I have to say, I thought this film was awesome.

Here's the official description -

"An aspiring author during the civil rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African-American maid's point of view on the white families for which they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis."

Emma Stone is one of the main characters, and after seeing her star in movies like "Easy A", I didn't know if she could pull off this role.  I was wrong, very wrong.  She is absolutely amazing as  Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan.  What did you think?  Did you see "The Help"?  Some are saying the book is better, do you agree?
