There's no doubt Gwen Stefani is charitable, especially after she announced Wednesday that she has donated $1 million to help victims of the devastating Japan earthquake and tsunami.

According to UsMagazine.com, the No Doubt singer's donation will go to Save the Children's Japan Earthquake-Tsunami Children in Emergency Fund. Those familiar with Stefani's music and fashion line know the Japanese culture holds a close place in her heart.

"I've been inspired by Japan for many years and have a true love, appreciation and respect for the Japanese people and their culture," Stefani told Us in a statement.

"The disaster in Japan is beyond heartbreaking, and I want to do anything I can to help. I would never be able to make a gesture like this without the love and support of all the fans over all these years," she continued.
