HAVEN, Gallatin County's domestic violence shelter, needs you, yes YOU! You can make a difference in the lives of women and children right here in the valley.

As a non-profit with limited staff resources, we rely heavily on the hard work of volunteers.  Our volunteers serve on our board of directors, answer our 24-hour crisis line, clean and maintain our emergency shelter, assist in special projects and support fundraising efforts.

Because of the sensitive nature of the work we do, our volunteers are required to go through a basic training.  We are hosting a volunteer training for interested community members on Saturday April 2nd at 9am.

Volunteering for HAVEN is a great way to meet new people, get engaged in the community, support victims of domestic violence and their children,  and learn about a pervasive issue in our society. To sign up for our upcoming training, please email vista@havenmt.org.

We are also looking for energetic volunteers to work alongside HAVEN staff and board members for the 317 Run to the Pub on March 12. HAVEN is a beneficiary for this event and we need volunteers to hand out water and cheer on runners on the course.  This is a fun race and a great way to meet some new friends! Volunteers need to be at a volunteer meeting on March 11 at 6pm at Bozeman Running Company.  Volunteers must show up to Bozeman Running Company by 9am on Saturday before the race. If you are interested in helping out, please email vista@havenmt.org.

Come hang with the coolest volunteers in Bozeman!
