As I was enjoying the heater in my house on this cold Bozeman Sunday, I decided it was a good time to eat my recently purchased pomegranate. Last time I attempted opening a pomegranate, I ended up with juice all over me, the counter and the floor. This time was different. 

I found the video above by Peshwaz Faizulla wich describes the supposed best way to open a pomegranite. He instructs to first cut the top off the the pomegranate with a shallow cut all the way around the pomegranates top. Then, cut shallow slices along the dividing pulp of each section of pomegranate seeds. Then, you can pry apart one at a time the chambers of seeds. I recorded my attempt in the video below. Do you open a pomegranate with this technique or do you have a better process?.
