iPod’s Could Be Banned In New Ordinance

iPod’s could be banned from being used by drivers that is. The Butte Silver Bow Judiciary Committee is moving forward on a proposed ban of any hand held electronic devices while driving. How many of you agree that hand held electronics use should be banned from a driver?

A similar bill, State Bill 251, was voted down and now the city and county are moving forward with their own ordinance with hopes to ban the use of these electronic distractions. The committee will vote on the ordinance next week.

Maybe the Apple iPod and Microsoft Zune will soon have voice control to help curb this trend of eliminating any hand based distractions from drivers. Would you buy a voice controlled media device specifically for use in your car?
