John Mayer Actually Nice For A Change (VIDEO)

John Mayer is known to be a jerk.  Well, lately he has said he is a changed man after going through a 20 month period where he was recovering from surgery on his vocal cords and was forced into silence.  But do we believe him?

Early in the year, John did a benefit show here in Bozeman for the firefighters who saved his home while battling the major fire that engulfed the Paradise Valley last summer. He gets a check in the nice column for this one.

Over the weekend, John was playing a show and sent his love out to "his Katy" (Katy Perry), thanking her for her patience.  This is another check in the nice column.  You can hear that love note in the video.
