Kim Kardashian A Pop Star?

I am just going to be blunt - I hate when people who have no business being in the music world decide to release an album.   I believe that music is inspired by culture, years of work, and respect. Recently it was  Kim Zolziak from the Real Housewives, Up next - Kim Kardashian.  Will you buy her upcoming single?Kim Kardashian's music career is about to officially begin. She told MTV News that her first single "Turn It Up" is coming out "in about three weeks."

Kim debuted the track -- which she worked on with The Dream -- at a Las Vegas nightclub last month, but it hasn't officially been released.

She said of the recording process, "You know it was something that I was really uncomfortable and nervous about, and [The-Dream] really just wanted me to step outside of my box and try something I've never done before. So I was really honest. I'm like, 'You're not gonna get Beyonce here, you're not gonna get Celine Dion,' and he really pulled something out of me . . . I was just so nervous."

* Even if the single doesn't lead to a full-fledged career in the music industry, Kim will be okay. She said, "I'm proud of myself that I tried something. It's all in fun. We just had a good time and the proceeds are going to a cancer organization [because we both] lost a parent to cancer. So it's just fun."
