Mattel has teamed up with Lady Gaga and her Born This Way Foundation to produce a limited-edition Lady Gaga doll as part of their popular Monster High line.

The doll was designed along with Gaga and her sister and costume designer, Natali Germanotta, and marks the first celebrity doll to be incorporated into the brand’s collection.

“We are all so super excited,” Natali said, in an interview with Refinery29. “I mean, being able to be a part of this collaboration is so wonderful and such a great opportunity for everyone.”

Natali says the collaboration came about in an attempt “to support young people and elevate kindness, bravery and acceptance.”

She continued, saying, “the doll really represents showing your unique self and being the most vulnerable you. Through that, within the design and the aesthetic, and the doll itself, it really puts forward that image to the young kids that will be seeing it and interacting with it...I think it is really important to be honest with yourself and your friends. There is really no better way to live. It can sometimes be scary, but at the same time it is very fulfilling."

Billboard reported that Gaga's Born This Way Foundation signed a three-year contract with Mattel back in October 2015.

"Supporting the empowerment and well-being of our young people will take individuals and organizations of all kinds working together," said Lady Gaga's mother Cynthia Germanotta, who is also president of the Born This Way Foundation. "That’s why Born This Way Foundation is excited to partner with Monster High. This collaboration is a wonderful and unique opportunity to meet young people where they are, a crucial first step toward building a kinder and braver world."

Gaga's doll isn't due out until later this fall, but you can check out a silhouette over at Refinery29.
