Lindsay Lohan Arrested Early Wednesday Morning

Late last night/early this morning - Lindsay Lohan was arrested after allegedly hitting a pedestrian in New York, and leaving the scene.

According to ABC Radio News and the NYPD, Linsday was parking her SUV just before 1am when she clipped the knee of an unidentified 30-year-old man. Lohan then entered the nearby Dream Hotel.

The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital for examination after complaining of being struck, police say, though the report doesn't specify whether it was the alleged victim who called police.  Lohan was arrested just before 2:30 a.m. on a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident and released on her own recognizance.

Lindsay is currently on probation as a result of previous DUI arrests.  It's not known if this morning's arrest might affect the status of her probation.
