Last night, I trusted the fine work of my close friend Jess as she cut 10 inches off my hair for Locks of Love. Locks of Love "is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis."  Many of them being Cancer patients, something that is very close to my heart.  My aunt is a cancer survivor, and I spend many hours raising money for  St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

This is the second time I have taken this leap of faith, and I must say it's much easier to do during Round 2.  I also have to say that I was sick of my long hair, so it wasn't too big of a decision to do it.  BUT - I officially challenge you to join me if you can, and donate to this great cause.  It doesn't cost anything more than a haircut, and Locks of Love provides are custom-made wigs for each child’s head that would normally cost between $3,500 to $6,000.

Will you join me?  Send pictures so we can say thank you to erinphillips@townsquaremedia.com!  Need a good hairstylist to do it - send Jess a message!
