Wow. Just wow.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis didn't just perform 'Same Love,' their commanding and potent song about same-sex equality, at the 2014 Grammy Awards (Jan. 26). The Seattle rap duo had couples of all ages, races and orientations get married on their cathedral-like stage during the performance.

Mack and R. Lewis received assists from Queen Latifah and a gay rights crusader you may have heard of: Her name is Madonna.

Thirty three couples exchanged rings during the performance. Initial reports suggested that 34 couples would swap vows, with Lewis' sister among them. But Latifah, who officiated, said it was 33 couples getting hitched on live TV during Music's Biggest Night.

Her Madgesty, who really is the patron saint of the LGBT community, sang a few bars of her '80s classic 'Open Your Heart' while wearing a white satin suit and a cowboy hat. She then joined Mary Lambert to sing the hook of 'Same Love.'

While they may sing about not crying on Sundays in 'Same Love,' this performance had us shedding a tear on this particular Grammy Sunday.

It was so moving and reminded us that we all have the right to love who we love and how we love.

Bravo, Mack, Ryan, Madge and 'Tifah! Congrats to all the newlyweds, too! We're not sure how legally binding the Grammy vows are, but the point was made and the message heard.
