With Madonna in full swing promotion mode for her directorial debut ‘W.E.,’ it’s no surprise that the diva has movies on the brain. Film is bleeding into her music, as she revealed that one of the songs on her forthcoming Interscope debut, ‘M.D.N.A.,’ is called ‘Beautiful Killer.’ The track is her ode to French actor Alain Delon.

Madge told the L.A. Times, ”I’ve seen every movie Alain Delon’s ever made. He’s so charismatic.” Oooh, is Madge crushing? Sounds like it. Perhaps she’s trying to communicate with him via the vehicle of song so she can direct him in her next feature film?

The Material Girl, and the woman who single-handedly elevated and introduced the word “reductive” to pop culture earlier this month, also spoke about her upcoming performance at the Super Bowl halftime show. Madge knows she has less than 15 minutes to entertain the free world, since the Super Bowl is the most watched TV event of the year and attracts about a bazillion viewers.

“I have 12 minutes and 40 seconds to do something extravagant and exciting in the middle of something that’s quite sacred to all of America,” she said, acknowledging the pressure and the importance of her role as halftime entertainment. “No one’s asked me to tone down my moves. They were curious about my costumes and the costumes of the dancers … they were very clear with us up front that they don’t want nipples or anything like that, and I didn’t have any intention of doing that, so I was like, ‘OK, we’re cool.’”

So don’t be expecting Nipplegate Part II. She’s not pulling a Justin and Janet, although we suspect that 15 years ago she might have had something like that up her shirt — er, sleeve!

Madge copped to anxiety about the big perf, simply because she’s so freakin’ Type A. She admitted, “I’m more nervous about this than most things I’ve done, simply because … it’s not how I’m used to working. I’m a perfectionist. I like everything to be done just so, and I like to run things and run things and run things until people can do it with their eyes closed.” Time to leap without looking, Madge.

While Madonna caused quite a stir in the media the past few weeks for her comments on Lady Gaga, saying it’s obvious that the Mother Monster is influenced by her, Madge also has to deal with another youngster nipping at her heels: She has her work cut out for her by mothering a headstrong teenage girl.

“Sometimes, [Lourdes] will do certain things or say certain things and I’ll feel like I’m looking in a mirror,” Madonna said. “I’ll get really irritated with her and then I’ll stop and think, ‘But that’s what I used to do. Or that’s what I do.’ If I complain to my friends and say, ‘Oh, she’s so strong willed’ or ‘She’s so opinionated,’ they look at me and go, ‘Well what did you expect?’”

What goes around comes around!
