NHL Game Ends in Overtime With Goal Down Goalie’s Pants [VIDEO]

The Buffalo Sabres were facing the Phoenix Coyotes in a game that went into overtime this Christmas. The final goal was in the goalie’s pants.

The Sabres’ Mark Pysyk hits the puck at the goal and gets his shot deflected. He quickly hits the puck again hoping to squeak it through the goalies guard. What happens next no one expected. The puck flies off the goalies stick and into the air and lands in the Coyote goalie’s pants. As the players frantically search for the puck, goalie Mike Smith backs into his defensive position at the net causing the puck to enter the net. The refs reviewed the play ruled it the game winning goal for the Sabres.

Craziest hockey goal ever?
