Lady Gaga works exhaustively, and she works her own staff exhaustively as well.

As a result, her longtime stylist, Nicola Formichetti, is done with her for good -- or at least for 'ARTPOP.'

"She's going to be my BFF forever, but my ex-assistant Brandon is heading that project," Formichetti said of Mother Monster's latest effort. "I'm too busy with [other commitments]. I've done two albums with her, it's been like five years, and you know, I'm always going to be involved somehow, but I cannot do it every day."

And why's that? He revealed to WWD, "She changes 12 times a day; it's insane."

Formichetti's former assistant, Brandon Maxwell, gave an insight as to what to expect from Gaga this time around.

"I think that this time it is about letting some of it go and the focus being on the music because now she's comfortable being naked and being who she is."

"The world has seen everything," Maxwell added. "It's more toned down and pulled back and chic. But it's also that we're making suits out of things that they would not normally be made out of, like plastic, but they're super well-tailored and clean. Maybe she's just wearing a simple catsuit and a head wrap … but we sort of do the craziness on the face."

Right. Because catsuits are totally normal streetwear to begin with.
