UPDATE: Per our prayers, a full version has arrived.

Even before One Direction's "Perfect" single dropped today (October 16), the internet was wildly speculating over whether it was about Harry Styles' relationship with Taylor Swift. Harry co-wrote the track, and it does contain a certain line that's dropping jaws according to Twitter: "And if you're looking for someone to write your breakup songs about / Baby, I'm perfect/Baby, we're perfect." It only took them a few years to (playfully) hit back!

But, wonderfully, there's more — the song, as we observed this morning, is slightly reminiscent of Taylor's "Style" from 1989, widely thought to be one of her own Harry-alluding creations. One industrious soul answered the internet's deepening call for One Haylor Track to Rule Them All: A "Style"-"Perfect" mashup.

We need the full version immediately.

Harry has previously addressed Taylor's penchant for writing lyrics that seem to touch on aspects of her relationship and subsequent breakup with the One Direction singer. "We always say that we write from personal experience, and I think everyone does, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like, ‘Oh you can’t write songs,'” he said in a Google+ hangout interview last year. “And she’s really good, so they’re good songs. So I’m really lucky in that sense.”

Can rising alt-pop princess Halsey please write another #Haylor song about these new developments?
