Jesse Speer - a former Manhattan, Montana resident has had his arraignment scheduled for his role in the abduction of an 11 year old girl this past October. It is set for Friday, December 21 at 1 p.m. in Park County District Court in Cody, Wyoming.  Speer is being held there on charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault.

5:00PM - UPDATE - News from the Bozeman Daily Chronicle this hour is saying that Jesse Spear, a 39 year-old Manhattan Montana man is being held in the Gallatin County Jail on charges of kidnapping.  He is currently being held with a $2 million bail...

We have received the official Press Release from the Manhattan Police Department. It states that initially there was a report last night of an apparent abduction where a witness said they saw a male in a green sedan tackle a female following what appeared to be an argument, and then put her in the vehicle.  More than 40 officers went on a massive search. As of this morning there's good news to r
