If you were one of the lucky ones to take advantage of opening weekend at Bridger Bowl - you know how good the snow was. Snow started falling Thursday night and continued to fall all weekend. Hope you snow junkies had fun! I was on my couch sick, being extra mad that I wasn't out playing in the snow!

The 2010-11 ski season is off and running at Bridger Bowl. Mother Nature has been kind with excellent early season snow. And Bridger Bowl has unveiled another year of improvements at the hill just 16 miles north of Bozeman.
The fresh snow that has fallen on Southwest Montana over the past couple of weeks has put smiles on both skiers & boarders; and ski area operators alike. The early season openings have not just benefited Big Sky, Moonlight, and Bridger; but ski areas across the state.
With Bridger Bowl and Moonlight Basin moving up opening dates due to record snowfall, area skiers and boarders are poised to hit the mountains. Big Sky opens today and has picked up another foot of new snow in the last 24 hours, giving the resort a 40" base at the bottom of the hill, and 70" at the summit
Ladies and gentleman, start your skis and boards. With Big Sky scheduled to open on Thursday, Bridger Bowl has decided to join the snow party early. It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
