December 28, 2010 This Christmas I was invited to spend the holiday with my boyfriend Ross and his family in Great Falls. My mom had just made the trip out here on Thanksgiving, so I took a deep breath and decided to take them up on the offer. The weekend was one of the best Christmas's I have had in recent memory, with only one moment of horror.

December 14, 2010 Let me just say this, I am not a great cook. I cook from my heart - but if that's the way you describe your skills you know you're bad! My 3 aunts got a big kick out of my lack of culinary knowledge during one of my early trips home after moving away to college. I remember sitting in the farmhouse and being the center of an unwanted laughter session. Shortly after getting back to Bozeman, I received "The Joy Of Cooking" from my librarian Aunt Donna. Inside was a simple note - "This will show you how to make most things".

December 2, 2010 I don't even try to hide it. I work hard everyday to get to live in Montana to play in the Mountains. And for me in the winter that means SNOWBOARDING! I learned how to snowboard as soon as I moved to Bozeman over 10 years ago, and I never get sick of it! This past weekend I got to spend Day 1 of the 2010 - 2011 season in BIG SKY!
November 29, 2010 One of my favorite Christmas Traditions is to go Christmas Tree Hunting! I absolutely love the fact that you can go back in time a little and do something like it used to be done! Now, I know it would be much easier to just go out and pick out a pretty, perfect tree...but WHERE IS THE FUN IN THAT?!?!

November 25, 2010 I will never forget walking into Howard Hall, the music building at Montana State University, on my very first day at college. My mom had (selectively) forgot to mention that marching band was going to be a part of my Music Education curriculum. I hated marching band in high school, and was horrified to find out I was going to have to spend 2 more years doing something I dreaded.
