The Conrad Murray verdict was handed down a week ago (Nov. 7), with the doctor being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the case of Michael Jackson. Murray came under fire for administering the surgical anesthetic propofol to the singer outside of the operating room, which killed him.

Now that a guilty verdict has been handed down in the case of Dr. Conrad Murray, who was accused of involuntary manslaughter regarding his patient Michael Jackson, the doctor has been remanded to custody and was promptly placed on suicide watch in the L.A. County Jail while he awaits sentencing. Murray’s sentencing is slated for Nov. 29.
