11 years after releasing its last album, 2001's Rock Steady, No Doubt releases their new album today with Push And Shove. The California quartet first began work on the disc way back in 2008 but were not happy with their progress and decided to tour instead. See what they have to say about it in this video! No Doubt Says They Won't Release New Album This Year

It’s been an awfully long wait between new albums for fans of No Doubt, who’ve had to make do with their old CDs and a 2009 tour to tide them over since the band last surfaced with ‘Rock Steady’ in 2001.

And that wait is about to get a little longer. The band has just dashed hopes that its next release would be in stores before the end of the year, admitting that “it’s just not ready yet.”

After walking into spiderwebs and being just a girl, No Doubt is back and ready for business.

According to Gwen Stefani, the band is working on a new album, but it isn’t as easy as pie. The group is ”desperate” to write good songs. “We wish we were good enough to craft it and have a vision, but our songwriting process is sort of desperate — we’re just praying that something comes out,” Stefani told Q magazine.
