‘The Office‘ premiered its eighth season last night, and for the second year in the a row, the employees of Dunder Mifflin are just catching onto something that’s already old news on the internet. Last fall they treated us to an office-wide lip dub, and this year they’ve finally discovered planking.

If you’re done with planking, and you don’t have the pool required for leisure diving, or the friend required for horsemaning, maybe the latest photo game called “stocking” is for you. To play, all you have to do is find a stock photo of somebody doing one of the mundane things that are featured in stock photos, and then try to replicate that pose as best you can. Last week we predicted that octogenarian Hugh Hefner’s embrace of planking would spell the end to the craze. Spinoff fads owling and leisure diving have failed to eclipse it, but could something called horsemaning be poised to rise up from planking‘s ashes?

Things got crazy at the Playboy Mansion the other night, and Playmate Anna Sophia Berglund — Hugh Hefner’s new “number one” girlfriend — got the octogenarian to engage in a bit of planking.
