It's no surprise that Montana ended up on that list. Not once, but twice.

The fine folks over at Matador Network just released a list of the "24 Coolest Towns in the USA." Montana made the list twice. Here's the good news. Bozeman isn't on the list, so our secret is still safe.

I don't know about you, but it kind of makes me cringe when I see national publications talking about how great Montana is. I mean, we know how great it is, but the rest of the world doesn't need to know.

Okay, so back to two Montana towns that were named the coolest in the USA. Coming in at #22 on the list is Cooke City, MT. It is a small town with a population of less than 200 people. It is a popular destination for snowmobilers and back country skiers. It is located in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness and is known as the winter gateway to Yellowstone. Coming in at #4 on the list is Missoula, MT. Known as the "Zoo" by locals. It is also the home of the Grizzlies. GO CATS!!!

One town that I'm glad isn't on the list is Bozeman. Let's try to keep it a secret as long as we can.
