We all know that Bozeman is a very expensive place to live with rising real estate prices, but Bozeman isn't the most expensive place to live in Montana.

It's not even in the Top 3!

According to NeighborhoodScout.com, the most expensive place to live in Montana is Big Sky.

The site based this data on housing prices, taxes, food, gas and services.

Whitefish, Bigfork, Gardiner and then Bozeman are the next four on the list. Whitefish and Bigfork are resort towns, and Gardiner is similar in this regard as its near the entrance to Yellowstone.
