Thursday Winter Weather Advisory for Southern Madison and Gallatin Counties

If you're heading south on Thursday, be prepared for snow showers and slick roads. The southern portions of Gallatin and Madison counties could see up to 5 inches of snow by Thursday evening.

According to the National Weather Service:

Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5am to 5pm Thursday.

• WHAT: Snow is expected. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the evening commute on Thursday.
• Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with localized amounts up to 5 inches.
• WHERE: Far-southern Madison and Gallatin counties.
• This advisory does not include Bozeman and Ennis.
• WHEN: From 5 am to 5 PM MST Thursday.
• Be prepared for reduced visibility at times.
• The latest road conditions can be obtained by calling 5-1-1.
