Tiffany Houghton laid it all out on the table with her song '17 Again.'

"It was definitely a more vulnerable song for me," she tells PopCrush. "I actually wrote it two years ago and kind of felt like now I was ready to put it out."

The track, which tackles the looming question of "what if?", shares a special connection with 'Breakfast at Tiffany's.' In the '17 Again' music video, Tiffany channels a famous scene from the film in which Audrey Hepburn's character, Holly Golightly, sits on a fire escape and sings 'Moon River.'

"That's the first time where Holly opens up this vulnerability to the audience and to Paul," Tiffany explains. "I felt a lot of similarities between when I wrote that song and a lot of the things Holly said in that movie."

Since the song looks back on what might have been, we asked Tiffany to share advice she would give to her younger self. The singer also opened up about the books that inspire her songwriting and her personal style.

Check it all out in the video above, and be sure to catch Tiffany on tour with MKTO!
