University Of Montana Football Team Suspends Quarterback After Rape Charge
Jordan Johnson, quarterback for the University of Montana was formally charged yesterday with felony rape. He was accused of the crime in March - when a woman said he went from "playful to aggressive" and raped her. The University of Montana Football team has suspended Johnson indefinitely - as per the Code of Conduct Handbook.
According to the KBZK.com, Johnson's felony charge carries a possible two years to life sentence in prison. Johnson is reportedly set to appear Aug. 14 in Missoula County District Court.
