University of Oregon Has Out of Control Snowball Fight [VIDEO]

Winter is supposed to be a time when we all slow down, try to stay warm and enjoy the beauty of the season. A bunch of less than kind students at the University of Oregon like to play a different game and let snowball fights claim innocent victims.

The snowball fight organized by the University of Oregon football team reportedly started out normal. People who wanted to participate did, and those who didn’t watched. But then the snow-fueled aggression was directed towards vehicles and their drivers.

The students prevented vehicles from moving by standing in their path and then threw and dumped snow on the cars.  Retired University of Oregan professor Sherwin Simmons was one of the targets and after opening his door, a student dumped a bucket of snow on him in his car. The snow bucket man in the video is the UO tight end, Pharaoh Brown, and prior to the video he was snapped in a photo dumping a bucket of snow on a student. Following the video’s viralness, the university announced Brown will be suspended from playing in the Valero Alamo Bowl for his actions.

Brown issued an apology

“I was one of the many UO students involved in the snowball fight on Friday, and my actions escalated to an inappropriate level and, for that, I sincerely apologize. We never should have engaged innocent people, and I deeply regret my actions and will accept the consequences.”

Many are blaming the UO football team for the chaos. While players from the team organized the snowball fight, other players are speaking out against the events. Offensive lineman, Andre Yruretagoyena, sent out this Tweet after seeing the video.

Should the students be punished and what should the punishments be?
