Scobey, Wolf Point, Circle and Terry will all be affected on Monday and Tuesday by a Winter Storm Watch for snow and blowing snow.

According to the National Weather Service:

  • WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
  • AREAS EAST OF A LINE FROM SCOBEY THROUGH WOLF POINT AND CIRCLE, TO TERRY.
  • SNOW ACCUMULATIONS - SIGNIFICANT WITH A WIDE RANGE POSSIBLE OF 2 TO 8 INCHES.
  • TIMING - MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.
  • BLOWING SNOW FROM STRONG WINDS MAY LEAD TO DECREASES IN VISIBILITY.
  • ACCUMLATING SNOW COULD BUILD UP ON ROADS AND SIDEWALKS MAKING TRAVEL MORE DIFFICULT OR POSSIBLY HAZARDOUS.
  • WINDS - NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.
  • TEMPERATURES - IN THE UPPER 20S.
  • NOW WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT TIME TO STOCK UP ON FOOD, MEDICAL AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES AS ROADS CAN SOMETIMES TAKE DAYS TO CLEAR.
