Most of southwest Montana is under a Winter Weather Advisory through Friday afternoon, including the Bozeman and West Yellowstone areas.

According to the National Weather Service:

The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for elevations above 5500 feet for snow... which
is in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 5 PM MST Friday.

  Locations... Big Hole Pass... Chief Joseph Pass... Monida Pass...  
  Flesher Pass... MacDonald Pass... Rogers Pass... Raynolds Pass...  
  Boulder Hill... Elk Park Pass... Homestake pass... Battle Ridge 
  Pass... Bozeman Pass... Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches at pass level. 3 to 6 inches
  on higher peaks.

* Timing... snow will spread from west to east across southwest
  Montana this afternoon. Snowfall rates will peak from late this
  evening to early Friday morning... then taper from west to east on
  Friday.

* Impacts... snow covered roadways and periods of reduced
  visibility. Wet roadways at lower elevations will become icy
  after dark as temperatures drop below freezing.

* Hazard elevation... for elevations above 5500 feet.
