Have you ever heard of the Steamboat Geyser in Yellowstone National Park? It's not on a set schedule of erupting like Old Faithful but when it erupts it is the world's tallest! It had not erupted for eight years until just yesterday!

Lucky visitors at Yellowstone National Park on August 1st were presented with a once in a lifetime show when Steamboat Geyser erupted 400 feet into the air and lasting for 40 minutes!

In the 1960's it erupted nearly 30 times in one year. Could 2013 be the year it nears that record? Start planning your trip to Yellowstone!
