According the AP this morning, A truck driver traveling on I-90 patched his leaking fuel tank with duct tape, and then went to sleep in Livingston.  While he slept his "patch" failed spilling about 100 gallons of fuel on the ground of the truck stop.  An employee at the stop noticed the leak around 3:00 a.m. and called firefighters.  Now, I know it was probably the middle of the night - but really?  Doesn't seem like a smart idea to patch something that significant with duct tape.
