The City of Bozeman Street Department has scheduled the spring sweeping of residential streets for this spring. Every spring, he sweeping is done to prevent the storm drains from getting plugged up with the sand that is used for ice control during the winter.

Crews will begin sweeping in the subdivisions in Bozeman on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 and in the core area on Monday, April 26th, 2021. Crews will sweep around Irving, Whittier, Hawthorne, Longfellow, Emily Dickinson, and Morning Star schools on Saturday, May 1st, 2021.

Please have your vehicles, trailers and all other items removed from the street by 6:00 a.m. on the morning your street is scheduled to be swept. If the sweepers have to maneuver around objects, they will not be able to come back later and sweep the areas that were blocked. The residential streets are not scheduled to be swept again until fall.
